Benefits of daily morning walk

You will surely love this benefit of just 22 minutes of daily walking.

In the present era, most people spend most of their time sitting throughout the day.

If you have this habit, know that it significantly increases your risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes and other serious diseases.

But by walking, jogging or cycling for 22 minutes a day, you can prevent the negative health effects of sitting for too long.
This was revealed in a new medical study in Norway.

A study by the Arctic University found that spending too much time sitting increases the risk of premature death due to various causes, but moderate to vigorous physical activity can reduce this risk.

About 12,000 people over the age of 50 were included in this study.

The physical activities of these individuals were evaluated using activity trackers.

5943 people involved in the research spent less than 10 and a half hours sitting while 6042 people spent more than 10 and a half hours sitting.

The health of these people was evaluated for 5 years, during which 805 people died.

The results showed that 22 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity per day can prevent adverse health effects and reduce the risk of premature death.

Spending time sitting in front of the television or computer, or having difficulty getting up from office work, both have negative effects on health, the researchers said.

He said that every minute of physical activity reduces the risk of premature death, in fact if a person does even 10 minutes of brisk walking, the risk of early death is reduced.

He said that if a person walks briskly for 22 minutes, the risk of premature death is eliminated.

According to the researchers, this means that if a person gets 22 minutes or more of physical activity, he or she does not face an additional risk from sitting for long periods of time.
